Student job ideas and ways to make some extra cash

With the success and feedback from the last job blog titled " top 10 student summer job ideas" we wanted to send out a few more ideas to help spark some job ideas, while helping plump up student’s wallets everywhere.

One of the coolest jobs out there has got to be a Secret Shopper, where you get paid to become a spying shopper and rate customer service and overall experience of the business. Businesses such as restaurants, movie theaters, retail stores etc. Essentially you can get paid to eat, watch movie and shop. It you’re interested check it out: Secretshopper.com

If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, you can always start up your own side business like lawn maintenance or dog walking. Or helping out with odd jobs for people in your area, people can always use your help washing windows, or cleaning out their garage.

You can always tutor or help students in an area you are highly skilled at, whether it’s academic, sports (say tennis) or some other area you are skilled at.

The bargainist also has some great ideas about how to earn some extra cash
Ideas like: Selling stuff on Craigslist, filling out surveys online and starting your own blog. Check out their link: Bargainist.com

Hope these help. Have a great weekend!

Have ideas for our next contest?

With the great success and response from our first contest, we're going to be running another contest in the fall, while you're back-at-school. We were thinking of a picture contest, where you can send in pictures of something entertaining, or you with your buds over the summer. Or a video contest, now we're not promising a contract- but maybe you can write a jingle or song and send it in. Are you good at online games? We were even thinking of a gaming contest where you can challenge your friends to a game posted on our site.

We're looking for ideas, so let us know what kind of contest you want us to run, and we’ll create it.
